Karrasu Tengu (KITO 1997, p 92) The Karrasu Tengu Karakuri puppet tells the legend of Hagoromo. The highlight of Hagoromo is where the angel rises to sky while dancing. The puppet is operated by stakes manipulated from underneath, out of the audience's sight. People watch in amazement as it looks like the angel is walking on its own 2 feet. KITO, H., 1997.
